Here we go!

I got energized to restart my blogging yesterday after having a meeting with some JLC (Junior League of Charlottesville) ladies. I have a love-hate relationship with blogs because they tend to feel like a requirement to update them when you have them, much like your Facebook or Twitter. But then I remembered they can be really fun and a great way to keep people who don't use those mediums updated on what's going on in our life. Plus, sharing funny stories about A aren't as easy through those outlets, so hopefully this will prove better.

I imagine this blog having mostly stories about A and his huge personality, but also including links to good recipes we've tried or fun places we've travelled. Who knows where it will lead, but hopefully it will be fun!

To start with a daily dose of fun, let's talk about Easter, as it is also about new beginnings. A had a great time hunting for Easter eggs in the front yard (the back yard was a bit muddy from the morning rain). Then I realized he was really finding the eggs, opening them, looking for a Reese's cup, and then throwing them on the ground if empty. He continued this over and over until, finally realizing it, I sent Dad inside to get a few pieces of candy to hide. Clearly he's a fast learner since I had like 2 eggs with Reese's hidden in them yesterday and clearly he takes after his parents...
