I think as a new parent you think firsts will stop when your kid turns one. But it doesn't. And it doesn't stop when they're 2 or 3 or ever really. Heck, I still do something for the first time sometimes, but I feel like it's this myth that firsts only happen in the beginning.
On the last few weeks we had some firsts that I has to share. First fireworks? Yes, definitely a big deal.
First time getting his face painted? Huge.
First time in a bounce house? Awesome. (His unhappy look is because I was taking a picture of course, not because he wasn't having fun.)
So yeah, the first will keep coming. I like that. And I know these firsts won't be lasts.
