Summer days

It's been a long time since I posted...I'd say it's because we're having fun this summer (which we are of course) but it's also because I hit a bit of a wall with blogging. I've been trying to get the blog and newsletter set for the new year for the Junior League (go check it out at jlcville.wordpress.com ), so i haven't been focussing much on this one.

We have had a pretty mild summer so far here in VA, but water play is always fun. So, here's a quick shot of water play in the yard.

And while A LOVES his vegetables, he has been decidedly anti-tomato. I think he gets it from his DD. That said, I've always preached that the way to get a kid to like vegetables (or any given food) is to have them help you cook it or pick it. Well, thanks for the cherry tomato plant DaDoc because guess who loves tomatoes now? 

As we hit the halfway point of summer, I think we're finally slowing down and ready to enjoy some more time at home. Maybe that means I'll do some more posting...
