A Perfect Friday

I usually get off early on Fridays. One, its Friday and its been a long week. Two, there's no better way to start the weekend than with some random fun with A. Today I picked up the dog, picked up A and off to the park we went for a jog and some playground time. 

Upon coming home it was warm, so we played in the kiddie pool on the patio. 

After dinner we played on the porch, and I got just the cutest picture of the kids :)

Finally, it's not a bedtime without some rolling on the floor and climbing on daddy :)

Thank you, Dads

I'm a little late at posting this, but I'm sure Kyle won't be surprised at this. But I needed to say it...thank you Dads if the world, especially those in my life. I grew up with a great Dad who always provided for us and showed us how to have fun. And I know that Kyle hadan amazing   father too, because he couldn't be this great of a dad if he didn't have a good role model! 

Anyways, thanks to all the dads of the world, especially the one in A's life :)

This one is probably 6 months old, but I love it :)

Pool time

I love the pool. It's probably my favorite thing about summer. Unfortunately A has had a slow start to the pool this summer. Apparently he loves to stick his face in the water table at school, but at the pool he'd rather play on the pool deck. 

Its slowly getting better, but here's hoping he's a fish by the end of summer!

Rainy days

Well as we knew, A hates rainy days because it means he can't play outside. Thursday was pretty rough, so Friday afternoon I picked him up early from day care and to the VA Discovery museum we went :)

He climbed the steps to the pirate ship and slid down all on his own :)

He also tried to eat the fake food.

And he watched the balls roll down the ramps. 

A pretty great rainy day indeed :)
